The old Nha Trang Airport area has been planned to become a new central district – a key urban growth pole at the Southwestern gateway of Nha Trang City, serving to connect the Northern and Southern urban areas. This new urban area, featuring mixed-use functions of commerce, services, finance, tourism, culture, and residential housing, is expected to attract tourists, companies, and international organizations for tourism, business, and recreation, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of Nha Trang City.

Following the approval of the framework technical infrastructure project for the Nha Trang Trade – Service – Finance – Tourism Urban Center by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee in March 2017, investors are currently implementing infrastructure construction for this urban center. Upon completion, this project is poised to become the new central district of Nha Trang City.

Therefore, the project comprising roads and intersections connecting to the Nha Trang Airport area is essential to ensure the synchronous connection of the technical infrastructure between the airport project area currently under construction and the Southwestern region of Nha Trang City.

Project implementation period: 10 months (from November 2017 to August 2018).
