Design duration
Upgrade and expand National Highway 26B (the section passing through Ninh Hoa Town) to interconnect the Khanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuot Expressway with Nam Van Phong Port and the Eastern North-South Expressway.
Establish a comprehensive road network to satisfy transport demands, reduce travel time, and enhance traffic safety.
Facilitate the development of industrial zones and Nam Van Phong Seaport; attract investment, foster socio-economic development, improve living standards, ensure national defense and security, and create regional connectivity between the Central Highlands and the South Central Coast.
Project Classification: Group B project; Type of construction: Transportation works (non-urban road); Project grade: Grade II; Road classification: Grade III plain road; Design speed: 80 km/h.
Scale: Upgrading and widening from 2 lanes to 4 lanes; roadbed width of 26 m; length of approximately 13.3 km; starting point intersects with Provincial Road 1B, ending point intersects with National Highway 1 at Km1415+250.
Total Investment: Approximately VND 865.474 billion, funded by the local budget.
Project implementation schedule: 2024 – 2025 period.
