Constructing a bridge over the Kim Bong River (connecting Van Thang Ward and Ngoc Hiep Ward in Nha Trang City) to complete the urban transport network in the Cai River area and alleviate traffic congestion on existing bridge alignments.
To establish a convenient connectivity route between the residential areas on both sides of the river, shorten travel time, reduce transportation costs, and enhance accessibility to urban services.
To contribute to urban regeneration, synchronize with the “Coastal Cities Sustainable Environment Project – Nha Trang City Subproject,” and create an architectural and landscape highlight along the Cai River corridor.
The bridge has an approximate length of 84.125 m (3 spans: 21.0 + 42.0 + 21.0 m), classified as a Highway Bridge Grade III, with a design speed of 50 km/h, a design live load of HL-93, and a design service life of 100 years.
The bridge cross-section is 28 m wide, comprising 4 traffic lanes (14 m), a 2 m median strip/central reservation, and sidewalks/walkways of 5 m and 7 m on either side, ensuring high capacity throughput for both motorized vehicles and pedestrians (Refer to the Standards Table on page 3).

The Kim Bong River Bridge Construction Investment Project was approved by the Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) under Decision No. 2955/QD-UBND dated October 30, 2020.

The Construction Drawing Design and Estimation Dossier No. 113/T27-HS was prepared by T27 Consulting Joint Stock Company on November 26, 2021.

A Verification Report (2nd submission) was issued by Tan Phong Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company on November 29, 2021, followed by the Appraisal Results Notification from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Transport (DOT) on December 14, 2021.

The Construction Drawing Design and Estimation were approved by the Director of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board under Decision No. 140/QD-BQL dated December 21, 2021.
